" HELPING FAMILIES COPE WITH THE LOSS OF A CHILD"
ST.LOUIS, MISSOURI
Dedicated to honoring Michael Tocco, this foundation was founded at the time of his early passing in 2016. One of the numerous burdens and stress-filled decisions facing the family was lifted from us by Michael himself. He had enrolled in the Gift of Organ Donation. Mid-America Transplant continues to be one of our many benefactors. "What would you like to leave behind?' It's a question seldom asked of your child. He loved children, the family, dogs, the outdoors, and so many things. He had a natural talent for being a great technical golfer. He tutored others and offered smart advice...he was a good young man, kind and quiet. Michael was the second of five brothers, he contributed just by being himself. Our family continues to repair itself from his loss and recognize the after-effects of the passing of a family member first-hand. We are here to help you! My family, our family, and this foundation will always honor him. He smiled from the bottom of his heart, he was a tremendous son. At age 28, Michael took a Piece of My Heart with him; it's a void that with your help we look to fill.

Our most dedicated and cherished donation and giving comes through a scholarship that is hosted each year at CAMDENTON SENIOR HIGH SCHOOL in Camdenton, Mo. (Michael's alma mater) We are so grateful to see the countless applications for the scholarship grow as we are entering our Ninth year. The criteria are firstly for a student to NEED Financial Help, to retain a consistent academic average, and most importantly display an exemplary friendship quality with his or her classmates.
This is Michael's father with the 2019 recipient, Kane Simmerly.

We donate several times annually to Mid America Transplant here in St. Louis. It's a small "thank you" for all the help they have been to us in our formative years as a foundation. This is Julie Walton in the photo, she heads The Family House. This was during COVID and we brought the families in wait Gas Cards and Jimmy John gift certificates to help with their stay. Stay tuned for upcoming news with Mid Amerca Transplant in St. Louis and of our 501c3 designation to better recognize our efforts as a Non-Profit Organization.
A beautiful, thought provoking book.

The newest Piece of My Heart Foundation book release!
Auburn Heights
Eden, California in the 60s
The man turns the crank and the residents on Nightingale Court move and toil. Sylvie and Joe smoke pot, Rick and Holly go to church, Jim and Judy are swingers, and Traci just forced the split between HerJoe and Sarah. Jerry and Chrissy were the first residents in Auburn Heights, they occupy the bird’s-eyespot at the end of the cul-de-sac. Too much? There’s more. Witness the day that Jack Nicklaus and Arnold Palmer commemorate Our Golf Club of Eden and absorb all the inner-workings of a PGA course. And then there’s another couple Dan and Carol; they are making their way home from a drug induced weekend in Laurel Canyon, they mingle with Jack Nicholson, Neil Young, astronauts from NASA, The Brotherhood of Eternal Love, and Stevie! There’s fashion and cigarettes, cocaine and LSD, miniskirts, peace signs, and Lovebugs! Too much to take in? Breathe, Daddy-O, just breathe, then take a look out of your front door … you’ll make the connections with your neighbors just the same!
Together they form the prying eyes of Auburn Heights. Then Interject Bendodanté and his fireflies, that accelerate the growth of The Father's Project in Eden … and it weaves a fantastical tale of adventure. My telling of a father’s wish … a father’s desire to build Auburn Heights.
Welcome to my fictitious telling of Auburn Heights, where the line between illusion and reality is razor-thin. Enjoy!!

"I was moved by this beautiful yet thought-provoking book...I highly recommend this book"....-Nicole Kellen, Director, Mid America Transplant, St. Louis, Mo
"Ellen Krohne couldn't have soothed my pain any better than interviewing me for Michael's chapter in her book after My Michael's passing. Along with Diana Cuddeback's assessment and explanation for my reactions, you just must read this book!" -Lenny Tocco

A fun read. Find a quiet place and enjoy the unexpected humor and conversational style of this author's very first novel and telling. It's a look at a fictional Italian family taking place over a weekend in 1988 in St. Louis, Missouri. The book was born of love and looks deeply into several love connections but targets and questions discrimination and stereotyping and attempts to see what others "see". The Order looks into the minds of others and represents all things unsaid but thought. Re-visit landmarks of the City and enjoy the numerous St. Louis mentions and discussions. Enjoy the ride and stay onboard for the bullseye look from St. Louis at the unthinkable things The Order manifests!

“Richness”
A story by Lenny Tocco
A modern-day retelling of a Gilded Age Family in and around New York in the late 1800s. “Richness” looks at how a fortune can mold life, predicting and manifesting its future.
The story opens in 1895 on the cliffs of the Atlantic Ocean in Newport, Rhode Island, at the mansion of the Vanderflecks. The first chapter comes out swinging, showing the disturbing acts of racial insensitivity, strong sexual content, and the Power of Money!
Kensington the First has just passed and left the largest fortune in history to his granddaughter Gertrude, who in turn marries the son of yet another industrial magnate and their combined wealth now doubles. The power of money extends from the coast of The Battery in New York through to Newport, Rhode Island. Its opulence fuels corruption from other outside “families.” The ride begins to protect and secure the inheritance! The wolves circle their prey. It’s a murderous tale of positioning to inherit the fortune of a lifetime, at any cost.
Stay on board for this page-turner as it examines The Great Depression, the effects of War, and The Great New England Hurricane of 1938, that nearly devastated their domain.
Ready yourself for the power of generational wealth and fortune.
Ready yourself for an immersion into these times.
Ready yourself for the occult.
Welcome to my fictitious world of the Vanderflecks.
Sip from the cup of the delusion of
“Richness.”

"Lenny Tocco boldly proclaims himself the “Master” of installation. In the 60s, 70s and 80s, if you had a car stereo, an antenna, or even an auto security device to be installed, he was the man to go to. What might sound like bragging to some is actually a masterful storytelling ..."
"This book is much more than detailed descriptions of his passionate work and successes, it is an encouraging reminder to others. In order to be your best, you need to do your best.
Written in a conversational voice, with dapples of irony and sarcasm, and an honesty which reveals unmistakable vulnerability, Lenny shares a glimpse of the deep friendships he made along the way, his unwavering love for family, and the resilience he needed to survive life’s many painful challenges.
You'll laugh, you'll learn, you'll cry. Just read it!"
-Diane
THE AUTHOR - Enjoy my telling containing a chronicled and pictorial history of stereo in the U.S. from when car stereo became car stereo until it perished … 336 pgs. with hundreds of photos. From AM Radio that made him the greatest antenna installer of all time, to auto security, then the cassette, Dolby, the 808 kick-drum, and finally to the almighty CD that propelled the sound to a new level. Be there the day St. Louis gave birth to the subwoofer. My first book that dives into the time surrounding Michael's passing. An homage to those who have lost a child, a gift for you. Follow your lives blindly and honestly, nothing can happen but what God wills. Don’t lose your vision:
Remember ...YOU CAN DO IT!
